Alexandr Petelin ‘The Haze’, 2018
“Just looking through the haze at the silhouette of trees, horizon and light.” A example of Petelin’s early paintings, an impressionistic landscape. Painting from memory and intuition, Petelin has created a whimsical painting filled with lavender, blues and yellows.
Artist: Alexandr Petelin ( Al Petelin ) was born in the south of Russia, January 1999. From early childhood his interest was and always had been art. His creativity was greatly influenced by the art of ancient civilisations, Japan, China and European Art of the 19th century. Petelin is self taught and one to watch.
‘I have realised that beauty is the reason, the question, the beginning and the end. Actually I don't like to explain my artworks and I don't like to talk about it. So everything you need is already there in the paintings.’
